phpbb forum as a wrapper inside mambo frame

Hi guys!
I have a mambo web site and I'd installed standalone phpbb forum
I'd created a wrapper for phpbb forum in mambo menu.
I'd unpublished mambo log in and registration from configuration page
and from modules page ...so far everyting is working good

here is the link for mambo site

if you click the FORUM link from mambo menu
you go to phpbb forum inside mambo frame.

or go to this side
http://www.suhan.uni.cc/component/o....apper&Itemid=8 as long as nobody opens the forums in new window
every link you click in phpbb forum comes up inside mambo frame

I just need your guys feed back about this trick

is there anything wrong with it?
can I use it as it is?
or can you guys help me do any changes?

All I want is having the phpbb forum stay inside mambo frame all the time

It should work without a problem. The disadvantage of this solution is that you cannot share site and forum users. There will be two accounts.

No it only makes to display phpbb with mambo together, visually. But technically they are completely separated.
If you want to share mambo and forum users you have to use appropriate component

As setra wrote, of course there is this component. If you are at the begging of building your site you can consider this mambo installation with already implemented phpbb forum http://www.impleri.net/

However I've only installed it once for testing purpose, I see that on his nothig has change for some time. One thing is for sure that he dosent proviede so much support as tim-online.


I hope that there will be some updates, but so far it doesnt look promising
