Arrow Mambo Rating System Missing On Front End

Hey everyone-

I've just upgraded to mambo 4.5.2 , but since 4.5.1 the rating system that comes standard with mambo has not been manifesting on the front end. I have the backend configured to show the rating bar. I've even gone into the individual content items and explicitly set the rating to "SHOW". But alas nothing shows up on the front end.

I'm at a total loss. I was hoping when I upgraded to 4.5.2 the problem would fix itself. Any suggestions?

Well ain't that xkeelyx...?
Welcome lady, now let's see..

1. In site>global configuration>content tab, you have "Item Rating/Voting set to "Show"?!
2. Parameters tab of the content item(s), you have selected either "use global" or "show"? (try both, just in case..)

This seems to be the case, according to your post, and this is also what is needed to get voting to work...? Dunno..

it is me, xkellyx

but alas my raiting system is still missing!

I have:
1. In site>global configuration>content tab, you have "Item Rating/Voting set to "Show"?!

Yes the global settings are set to show.

2. Parameters tab of the content item(s), you have selected either "use global" or "show"? (try both, just in case..)

Yes, I have tried both settings.

I thought at first it might be a template issue. But I've tried several templates all with the same result.

All I know is that the raitings used to show on the front end, but when I upgraded they no longer appeared.

I'm totally at a loss.

Thanks

kel

x, I've attached my files here (even if you could simply get them from the original Mambo zip you downloaded..), included a screenshot of the database entry (make sure to check if the ID is not taken in your install!), so just upload, add the entry in mos_mambots table and you should be set..

thanks, I'll try it right now.

Mambo is automatically updated for me. So, i never downloaded the files, but i do see your point. I should have thought of that myself

thanks again, I'll let you know how it turns out.
