Review Component for Mambo

I would like to know if someone knows of a good review component for mambo.

I googled around and found some people doing:

Mambo Open Source Gamers Database (MOS-GDb)

But after checking their website it resulted in vapor-ware.

I hope no one gets offended, but i switched to mambo because it impressed me a lot. And one thing that disappoints me is the lack of good components that are open source o payware.

I run one of the biggest spanish speaking gaming sites. And I am in the need of a component that my authors can write reviews of games, peripherals and other console related artifacts, being able to publish photos and give a rank to the product as well as let people rank the review themselves.

I know these vapor-ware dudes were on to something like this... I am willing to shell some bucks for its development, but if everyone here believes in opensource it should simply be done. How much could something like that cost? 30 - 50 bucks? If someone can make it ill pay for it, but if someone can make it under gPL I'll feel better sending in a donation.

I hope someone can help.

I'm not offering any professional services, but you might be interested in my component, Database Query. It's simply a database application that can generate forms, but it also offers the possibility to customize templates for display. I've used the templates to customize ( ie contract work ) for product databases. One form to submit a review, one form to search. It wouldn't handle discussion threads, though. Anyways, its an option.

Hiring out to make such a component would be a major investment, BTW, more than $50 I'm sure. Such a component would be good to have, though, I have to admint.

I was also looking for this, but didn't find it.. Making one seemed to hard for me because Mambo is pretty new for me.

What I now did is I added a mambot, which is a hack of the mospagebreak mambot. When you click my new image there is a table added to the edit field (of a normal section item) in which the moderators can add their content.
