when i go to http://www.this_address.com/administrator/index.php
it's ok but when it go after i fill the right user & password to

http://www.this_address.com/administrator/index2.php

it gives me this

it happend to me before i think the problem is in the index2.php file.
can it be fixed?
will i need to always overwrite the file ?
is this file the problem or something else?

i've been experiencing similar problems while ago and they passed away when i changed directory permissions for admin/template/mytemplate dirctory from 777 to 755 or 775 (try both).

But now i've got same problem that you are experiencing - after i enter proper login/pass the page loads about a minute and then error shows...

I don't know what is happening, maybe it has sth to do with configuration of the server?

now it's working just fine(more or less, the pic of the mail do not want to load ).
i think it's a server problem & the mambo system is too sensitive.

p.s.
the problem came back.

now after i changed the templet from 777 to 775 it's working.
(i hope not till next time...)
