Banner Client Manager Problem 4.5.1a

In case no-one else has noticed, if you have more than 10 clients, the Banner Client Manager page in the backend will not show more that 10 entries. If you click next/end or anything else to show a second page, the screen you get is for the Banner Manager, not the Banner Client Manager.

If anyone has a fix or workaround for this it would be appreciated.

i think i was the only who notice taht so i always use and 3rd party banner manager like the phpAdsnew

i also have a module for use it into mambo core and modules

but you have the point what is happening with the mambo banner manager, as you see no much of the users use it like you do i think

so let the master help us here

and maybe can manage to let us know some trick to put some flash banners into the mambo banner manager

thanks for you quick reply kachete. this problem also affects artbanners, so there is a problem in the core code of mambo. i have installed phpadsnew but find it very complex, and will present my not-so-technical users who are entering content with quite a challenge. this is a concern as the roadmap for 4.6 excludes banners.

if you have a module to use phpadsnew in mambo, i would be very interested

thanks - is there any help on how to fill in the fields - what is 'bannersource'?

meanwhile, i would still like a fix for the core problem in mambo displaying the wrong page in the backend

Many thanks Kachete - I now have phpAdsNew up and running, and integrated into Mambo, but it was not a trivial exercise, and I am not new to this type of thing!

I am concerned that if the Banners component is depricated in favour of phpAdsNew (as per the 4.6 roadmap), then the ordinary Mambo website administrator is going to need a lot of help in this area.

I still believe we need a standard component similar to ArtBanners for the ordinary user - if only someone could come up with a fix for the client administration (also common to Banners). /Geoff

it will be a lovely solution that the regular user can integrate any kind and type of banners into the template using a mambo core banners componenets and module

a solution to publish jpg, gif, animated gifs and flash banners and all other things

that we can manage all the funtions and send a message to the publisher of the banners when they got out of click/impresions

some core development like that would be great to put into the mambo new releases.

im glad you came to put the phpadsnew to work

The new b version has the boo boo too - which really stinks

Learning phpadsnew is like learning a whole new program

i think we all love to the core team may find a nice solution to that and other things to

we have to wait fo them to came with a solution
