I'm using a modified version of the Madeyourweb template for my developing site. I've noticed that after a certain number of items are set up to be published on the Frontpage a second page is automatically generated. It's like there is a limit to the number of items which can be published on the first Frontpage. Exceeding that number of items automatically generates a second page where the excess items appear.

For example, it seems the number of items which can be printed on the Frontpage in the main [central] column is about eight. So, if I indicate I want 10 items published on the Frontpage, eight of them will be; but the remaining two are forced to a second page.

I've searched extensively, but cannot find anywhere in the template or CSS where the length of the Frontpage (or any HTML page) can be specified. Does anyone know how the length of the Frontpage can be extended or shortened?
