admin panel stopped working

i have a bunch of sites on the same server, and 1 of them suddenly will not let me login on the backend anymore.

I get the login page, but after that the page is just blank. I guess there is an error and PHP is not displaying errors or something .. but what in the *** could be wrong ? It was working fine for a long time and my other sites are still fine .. and the front end is fine too.

any help would be much appreciated.

I have solved the issue myself.
Even though I didnt manage to enable display errors, I started thinking what my site was doing apart from the normal stuff a standard install does. I could only think of Joomla stats which could be using up a LOT of memory because I didn't clean the tables for a while and have hundreds of visitors a day on this site.
So i went into php admin and emptied all the tables from the statistics tables ... tried to login again .. ET VOILA !

It's working again ... too much memory used by joomla stats, and I had a little admin module installed which was trying to load in the admin panel....
