Default Site is garbage on a Mac browser??

Hi,

I have been notified by an individual who is using a Macintosh computer, in Germany, that the following Joomla site is being displayed as garbage characters. I have the Country Locale set to en-US and the Language set to 'english'. The site displays for me, and others in my area (different networks, different browsers), and others in various countries.

So, I am very stumped as to why on this person's mac, it might display as gibberish. The site url is:

http://ic-discipleship-ministries.org/

The screen capture that this person sent to me is:

Default Re: Site is garbage on a Mac browser??

Further details have been provided by the person in Germany:

Quote:

I have accessed your site again at 19:32:52 UT. Yes indeed, I am using a Mac but I never saw a similar effect before (I haven't even noticed this funny characters before). Note, that the Mac operationg system is Unix, in fact.

Wait a second, I will check with another browser too ....

ARRRGHHH - it works now!

Checking another one ....

Failed again!

So, this is the story: The Internet Explorer works fine, the Safari and the Firefox browser both fail. Looks to me, Modzilla type of browsers do not like your page ....

End of Quote.

Surely, Joomla should have no problems with Safari and Firefox browsers. I have checked using Opera, and the site works fine.

Please advise! Thank you.

For those who would like to know the solution of my problem:

The issue was caused by the System settings for Compression. I had the Compression of all pages turned ON - turning this OFF caused the problem to go away.

Apparently, having Compression turned ON results in some browsers not being able to handle the compressed version of a web page. Even though the browser has informed Joomla that it can handle compression, the version and type of compression that Joomla creates is not usable by that browser. Hence, you get garbled data instead of the uncompression webpage.

Again, by turning OFF compression, all webpages now display fine ( at http://ic-dicsipleship-ministries.org/ ).

Post World of Warcraft Gold Farmers

Massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) is a WoW Gold genre of online computer role-playing games (CRPGs) in and which a large number of players interact with one another in a virtual world. As in all RPGs, So please try WoW Power leveling and players assume the role of a fictional character not Runescape Power leveling and (most commonly in a fantasy world),and take control over many of that character's actions.MMORPGs are distinguished from single-player or small multi-player CRPGs by the number of players, and by the game's persistent world, usually hosted by the game's publisher, which continues to exist or and evolve while the player is away from the game.someone said that is a great idear, but i think it's a nice choose! why? because that and Maple Story Mesos it's a best games items for mmorpg, and somefor games player not to be our best games, lol~ we should try and buy some also we can learn some to improve our games account! ThanksRunescape
