Default Question about pruning [Resolved]

I was just wonderign what prunign exactly means. I think pruning means that topics that haven't had any activity lately will be deleted (correct me if i'm wrong). But what about topics where problems got solved? Will they be deleted aswell?

Hope you can follow my strange thoughts

Be assured that any pruning that does take place will be done manually, and we will not delete valuable information. This will mostly be to completely remove double posts and the such. We understand how much of a hassle normal pruning can be .
