email notifications not working

This is my first (i think) post in feedback.

since mambers was attacked, and restored, i m not getting email notifications for the threads i have subscribed (65+ in total).

all settings are okay.

btw, before that, daily and weekly digests were not generated.

Yip, same here.. it seems no email notifications are being sent out.

Thanks for your information. I have informed the hoster and they are working on the problem already. Please be patient, it should work again in a few hours.

For those who did not get their activation emails, please stay tuned, we will resend them as soon as the mail function works again.

Well, I have this same problem with my hosting from time to time too. They update something and then php mail doesn't work anymore or some crucial library is getting missing. But usually at the instant I complain they put themselves to work and they fix them.

It's a shame that the whole MamboPortal have to move servers just because of a tiny problem like php mails, because this is a solvable problem, but well, if the server doesn't provide the service they might, is better moving and forget any problem.

Note: Actually, I have not the right to complain about my server since is a free webhosting.

I am seriously thinking to change my hosting company as well. It was EXTREMLY cheap, (20 GB with 400 GB data transfer) but in security its very bad!

I am thinking to upgrade plan (as 40 GB of space is sexy) that might have some security issues resolved.

recently i have noticed that the email notification system for the messages is no more working again.

maybe it will be in my case only, but earlier this year this problem came too. so better check out the things.
