Default Invision board integration

I just stumbled onto the following at www.e107.org (perhaps folks here are already familiar with it?) regarding an Invision Power Board integration for cms. For all I know this is old news -- I tried to find a thread I thought I saw here recently, but no luck.

So apologies for starting yet another ... anyway:

IPB integration script

I thought I'd post this forum post by Patiek on the front page as it regards something that seems to get asked about a lot ...
I have finished my CMS Forum Members hack that can be used to combine, among other CMS scripts, e107 with Invision Power Board (http://www.invisionboard.com ).

The script is very easy to install. The install is automatic and doesn't require any manual editing of files (the script does this automatically). Additionally, an uninstall script is included if you want to revert any file modifications that were made by the hack.

This script will:
- "combine" user databases for your forum and CMS scripts.
- provide single login / logout links for your forum and CMS scripts.
- redirect your CMS profiles to your forum profiles.
- redirect your CMS edit profiles to your forum edit profiles.
- combine user registrations on your forum and CMS scripts.
- combine user lost password links.

This script will NOT:
- combine user suspension / deletion

The script was tested on e107 v0.616 and IPB v1.3.x with a setup of both the site and the forums being under the same domain (forums not under a subdomain).

Unfortunately, I cannot provide any demos at the moment. You will just have to try it out for yourself.

This hack / script is designed in such a way that I can easily make updates to it as e107 and Invision Power Board scripts progress
