I'm building a site using mambo and I need to change the site language by code...
I have the language files all set, can anyone put me on the right direction?

Thanks

easy as it can be

a language file (english.php):
<?
DEFINE('._A_BIT_TEXT','A bit text to display');
?>

include language file in the php file:
<?
include_once($mosConfig_absolute_path.'/path/languages/' . $mosConfig_lang . '.php');

// display something out of language file
$content = ''._A_BIT_TEXT.'';

?>

Hi Vancanneyt and Walb and thank you for the response

about the translation – I think I didn't explain my self, so what I intended is, I already have a translation of mambo and that's not what I need, my problem is that I need to chose the current site language depending on the page the user is viewing...

The problem itself is not the article language but the "read more..." and "back" links on the bottom of the page

In case of mambelfish the vistor selects his/her language.
If translated content in that language is available it will be displayed. Otherwise the original content is displayed.
'Read more...' and 'Back' text will be displayed allways in the chosen language and is independent of the content in whatever language.

thats exactly what i need to chang, the interface language and not the content.

i dont need the option to have my content in multilanguage but to change the interface language.
