Default *NEW* Display Menu - Tigra -> Version 1-0

DISPLAY MENU – TIGRA 1-0
RELEASED

Yes finally mambo has a new alternative javascript dropdown menu system to rival the JSCook Menu.

JSCook vs Tigra head to head which would I choose??
I'd say Tigra as it is far easier to customise the style of the menu, on most other points the menus score about the same.

So try Tigra now!!

Question Re: *NEW* Display Menu - Tigra -> Version 1-0

Hi,

I've installed Tigra menu at bottom of my site, inside a cell with the same width of the site.
But the problems are 2:

1. Opera 7.53 and Firefox 0.9 shows Tigra left aligned
2. IE6 SP1 shows Tigra aligned from center to right.

The cell is left aligned , but this is not important I think
Could I use 2 Tigra menus on the same site: one vertical and other horizontal ? (installed as module)

Thanks for your help !

PS: just one more thing: how could I change (via parameters) the menu from horizontal to vertical ?

Coffee Re: *NEW* Display Menu - Tigra -> Version 1-0

Hi,

sorry, I didn't know there is an oficial page of tigra on MamboForge.
So, now I read the documentation, but I can't download the files from MamboForge, 'cause I get this error:

"MamboForge Could Not Connect to Database"

The same problem to download JCook menu....

Anyway, I'm using the position_left parameter, setted up to 60px, and that's working OK with Opera & Firefox, but with IE6 I have the same problem than before: the menu appears static, from the center of the cell to the right side... and whether I user a negative parameter works well with IE6, but not with Opera & Firefox (I'm using the version 1.0 of Tigra)

Could you help me, please, to can center it with parameters like Opera & Firefox ?

Thanks !

My general tip is to unzip the file and look for another zipfile inside, some module makers do that to include readme files etc. You could try if it works in your case.

Do you think the cause can be the safe mode ON ?
Do I need to switch to OFF ?
