The Static content component for MOS includes static html/php-pages inside MOS. The component will help to transfer loads of old html-pages into Mambo.

New in Version 1.1.4:
* some minor bugfixes
* SEF-URLs are now fully supported, if you're running Mambo in SEF-Mode, your links to staticfiles are changed to SEF including parameters
* IFrame option: The IFrame option allows you to link to static files which usually can not be simply included into Mambo. static XT wraps those files in an IFrame (similar to the wrapper component). This option is useful if you e.g. have a preview of a picture in your staticfile from which you link to the complete picture.
Currently only .jpg, .gif, .png and .swf are wrapped in an Iframe, let me know if you have additional requirements.

Hi I just upgraded from 1.14 to 1.17 and i get these messages on install...

I went back and tried reinstall 1.14 but i now get the same message and I now have no version of staticxt at all....

your help would be appreciated..thanks ,wooly

Hi Wooly,

doesn't look like a staticXT-Problem... I had a look at line 289 of the installer:
if(!(copy($filesource,$filedest) && chmod($filedest, 0777)))

I guess it's a problem of file/directory permissions... Could you check that?

Hi Omerten,

It would be great if you could add options to include links for email, print and maybe even pdf. I'm thinking tags similar to mospagebreak and mosimage inside the script itself that the admin could add within the static php pages. These links, of course, don't have to be SEF.
