| Re: HTMLArea3 Extended Looks greats , works great from the front-end
But I can't add contents from the Back-end, i have to switch to HTML mode do it.
Would it be possible to create another variation with image upload and delete function for people who like to have this option. |

| Re: HTMLArea3 Extended Sure enough, it was permission settings. chmod -R 755 on the directory, plus chmod 755 on editor.htmlarea3_xtd.php solved it for me. You might consider adding it to your directions, or including it as a suggestion if people don't see the editor coming up.
For you security guru's, is that opening things up too much?
Anyway, AWESOME job!!!! I'd cursed out HTMLArea long ago, and put one of my Mac clients on RTE. I've done some preliminary playing, and all the old problems seem to be gone.
By the way -- anyone familiar enough with the HTMLArea add-on approach to suggest a simple way to create a simple anchor-tag pop-up? Another client is looking for that.
Cheers, |

| Re: HTMLArea3 Extended Works like a charm locally, installed in under 1 min.
But I'm missing the document add-on I have in htmla2..
It looks really good. |

| Re: HTMLArea3 Extended I am really happy to hear you like it and (in most cases) did get it to work without problems
I will wait for some more feedback (currently I have to read a lot of mails as you can imagine) and then update the ReadMe files with your hints and suggestions. However as I am moving appartment at the moment this could take a while.
And yes, I am planning to add the image upload and delete image option to the image manager, but as you may remember, there were some troubles with a security issue in htmlare2's image upload function and I didn't want to add a potential security hole to HTMLArea3 XTD, therefore I skipped it for this version. When I find a working fix, I'll release an update for the image manager. Also I'll contact the developers of Docman or John Phillips, who already did make a Docman addon for htmlarea2, to check how to implement a Docman addon to HTMLArea3 XTD.
Thanks again for your feedback!
regards,
novocaine

It's your lucky day, u don't have to contact the docman developpers, they just came to you ! It would be great to release a HTMLArea3 Docman addon. Maybe it's best u contact me personally or leave a message on the docman forums to discuss this further. http://www.mambodocman.com.
Cheers. |

| Re: HTMLArea3 Extended Ok, it's here: the patch for the HTMLArea3 XTD image manager, which enables you to have image uploads and delete images. Including a security fix, which checks a) are you a registered user? and b) if so, are you allowed to add news?.
Here you go: http://mosforge.net/frs/?group_id=157
Extract the files to your Mambo root, overwriting existing files, that's it.

| Re: HTMLArea3 Extended Ok, i have a small bug for you
In the image (taken from MamboHut.com live site) below , you can see a thin border around the "google ad" as well as the "featured template" module and they are the only two modules that have Java script in them if that makes any difference.
The border appears only when i login in other words when the editor is loaded
Other than that it's really cool editor |
