is there such thing as "form fill" available for Mambo. What I mean is a component or other ....where I can create a form and put it on the webpage and users can fill it out and post it to me? ( for example with a few boxes to mark....)

You have a paid component for that called Phil-a-form. Go to Phil's website http://www.phil-taylor.com he has a lite version to try. Maybe it fits your needs.
