Question Is there a component which can show a portfolio of tasks and projects.

I'm looking for a component which can be used as a portfolio of tasks and projects created.

I've ran across the beautiful site www.aurum3.com and they have something quite similar (if not exactly) what i'm looking for.

Does anybody know what component is being used there or with which component i can achieve a similar effect?

btw. just in case somebody tells me to ask aurum3 directly, somebody already asked this and aurum3 never answered.

I believe that aurum3 is just using standard mambo sections, categories and items. Notice the urls on a porfolio page like this http://www.aurum3.com/content/view/6/29/

That is a search engine friendly (SEF) url, but it equates to http://www.aurum3.com/index.php?opti...id=6&itemid=29.

If it was a component the non-sef url would look like /index.php?option=com_whatever&task=task and so on.

Yes, you're probably right but then, did they hardcode all the data inside the section? It seems a bit strange but who knows.

btw. in the mean time i continued browsing several mambo community member sites and at www.peekmambo.com i found that in the Menu there is an option for portfolio.

It only lists several screenshots of templates but it has the name "com _portfolio" inside. Any idea if this is a custom component?

Seems to be, but I don't think this is what you are looking for, since clicking the thumbnail changes the site's template to the template clicked.
Code:
http://www.peekmambo.com/peekmambo/index.php?option=com_portfolio&mos_change_template=greytech

Yes, for instance, their Web portfolio is just one content item.
