Default Is there a Gallery type Component that will play movies?

I need to find a component or something that can be installed via wrapper/com_statc that will show some form of movies, quicktime etc, in addition to static pics.

thanks,
Danny

Would maybe Jinzora work for you? http://forum.mamboserver.com/viewtopic.php?t=12374

That looks like a great program for music, but all I need is video. It does look like they are planning on a port for Mambo.

thanks,
Danny

It already works with Mambo, as far as I've heard.

I thought I remembered reading somewhere that Jinzora required an 800px window, so you'd have to have a separate template for the Jinzora stuff. I haven't tried it, so I don't know for sure... and I don't remember where I read that. Maybe over at mamboserver.com?

Jinzora looks like a great project in development for Mambo. I was reading the current installation procedures to install it as a Mambo component and it doesn't look too difficult. If I read the forum thread over on mamboserver correctly, the developers were more interested in making Jinzora first work properly as a Mambo component, then second to work on the installer.

Yeah, the 800px width requirement is a bit of a nudge but I suppose having to make a sub_template for it is not too much of a sacrifice.

It is great to see so many new things like this being brought into Mambo. Mambo is beginning to attract a lot of attention, and only good things can come of that.

Kudos to the folks over at Jinzora!
