Pagination for this component (or the entire component) doesn't work when 404sef is turned on.
What is the fix for this?

In other words when I configure the component, I can set how many links I want per page. If I set it to a number higher than the amount of links in the database, the links page displays fine and shows all the links in one page, but I want to show a certain amount of links per page. if I set the links per page number lower than the amount of links that are in the database so that only a certain amount of links show up per page then the whole component doesn't work anymore. It wont show page 1 or 2 or any other page, but if I turn off 404sef then the pages show up correctly and I get the amount of links per page that I wanted.

I don't know if I want to change to another sef component, because I don't know if I will break something else after I fix this component, and I definately don't want to turn off sef completely.

Is there a way to make this component work with 404sef?

I did some checking, and I found out that the sef url log was corrupt somehow. I fixed the problem by purging the sef urls.

In case some of your links get 404 errors after purging the urls what you have to do is purge the 404 logs then click around your site and your sef url redirects will get written back to the way they were (hopefully).....at least that's what worked for me.

so basically this wasn't a mos link exchange component problem, it was a 404sef component problem.

Are there anymore components like this one? This one is good but lacks categories. I want want one just like this but with the added feature of putting links into different categories. Please say there's one out there like that.

In other words i want 2 features in a link exchange component:
1) be able to check link backs (like the mos link exchange component)
and
2) be able to put links in different categories (like the link exchange system that comes with mambo/joomla)

any other feature doesn't matter. if it has more features that's cool, but it has to have at leat these 2 features. Do you know of any that have those 2 features together?
