Question Affiliate & paid membership management module/component/ third party add ons

Hi
Is anyone out there running any affiliate programs for their site?

Is there a Mambo module/component for managing these or can anyone recommend a third party add-on that works well with Mambo? (e.g. something like http://www.affiliate-management-software.com/ )

Likewise for managing paid memberships. Can anyone recommend a module or 3rd party add-on? (http://www.amember.com/scripts/amember/ is one I've been looking at)

Many thanks

I am also looking for someway to rotate my affiliates on my site (like banners) without having to download the images onto my server (some change so often!).
Anyway.. what I have done as workaround is as follows:
1. Create a Section/Category called affiliates. You can break it down as complex as you want but I only broke mine down into "right" and "bottom" representing the places I want to put them.
2. COPY your newsflash module and point it to one of your affiliate categories.
3. Populate the category with content. I found the publishing start and end is great for those affiliates that have "DO NOT POST BEFORE/AFTER" warnings.

Now management is a different story. I have some "strays" but mostly I use Linkshare. Linkshare manages my affiliates for me and pays me directly. It also has reports and such. Check it out for yourself (not trying to advertise for it).

If someone has a better/easier way, PLEASE let me know. I am not having too many problems managing things now but I only have 12 affiliates at the moment. It might get a bit hairy down the road!

Dear Mamber,

You started this thread in the Mambo 5.0 forum. This version is not out yet and the forum is only used to discuss this upcoming version. Your problem is not particularly about this upcomming version of Mambo but about something regarding the current version. Therefore this should be posted in another forum. This way other mambers can respond faster to your questions/remarks.
I moved it for you, please post in the appropriate forum next time, you will get faster and better answers there!

Regards,

Regenerate

I would be willing to assist in any way possible in the development of such a module if anyone out there wants to help.

Did anyone ever find an effective Linkshare component/module? I have tried the option you all offered - making a section/category/newsflash. It sure is much faster and simpler than the banner idea, it will get messy with alot of linkshare affiliates.

Anyone have any new ideas?
