Default An EBAY looks-like website

Hello there!

I am trying to build an EBAY looks-like website for my city. Does anyone knows any place where I can download the script or CMS that is similar to EBAY website?

It will be very helpful for my needs.

Best regards IDesign

Hello, you should check out Scriptlance

There have been several projects involving an eBay clone.

All you have to do is state what you want and how you want it, skilled people will all bid on your project and give you their best price.

Just keep in mind, eBay's site took years to build, and it won't be easy for anyone to exactly replicate the site in look, feel and features, etc.

Also note, eBay runs on Windows based servers.

There are also turnkey scripts available that look somewhat like eBay.

You can find them oneBay and many sites on the Internet, just search for "Auctio Script" on Google, Yahoo, etc.

I wish you luck with your project.

Cheers

MM

So, mambomike if you say this:

"There have been several projects involving an eBay clone.

Just keep in mind, eBay's site took years to build, and it won't be easy for anyone to exactly replicate the site in look, feel and features, etc."

How can be possible that are people creating ebay clones? What about the plagiarism?
Take a look at http://www.trademe.co.nz/ the layout it's basicly like ebay. And it's been running for a long time with no legal problems.

To create a auction website like ebay can it be done using these applications?

Are they good enough?
Thank you

why do you want to copy ebay? Ebay is nothing good, its not a good idea to create a copy of this site. There are fare more better sites on the internet.
