Rejuvinet Story.....with a happy ending

I recently purchased a template conversion for my site from Dave Daoust of Rejuvinet. After purchasing the template, I was looking around this forum and the mamboserver forum and found several complaints against Dave and his business practices. Needless to say this put me on edge. Well, I just wanted to say that Dave did deliver my template and I am pleased with the results. It was delivered slightly later than the original estimate (which had me quite nervous given what I had read) but for the most part he kept me informed on the status of the conversion and I'm happy with the finished product.

The template conversion was a fairly difficult request but Dave delivered just as I asked and I'm quite happy with his work (he's still working on a few minor changes for me). Dave didn't ask me to post this and I have no association with Dave prior to this transaction. I figured I would post my experience just to balance it with those of others who have posted. It is not my intention to incite any arguments regarding Rejuvinet or to dispute the claims of others who have not had the positive experience I have had. I just thought I'd share my experience. Overall, the transaction was not without some bumps but I am pleased with the finished product and would recommend Dave's work. If anyone has any questions please let me know and I'll answer them with complete honesty.

Someone contacted me questioning the authenticity of my post. I just wanted to assure everyone that while it may appear fishy the post is completely legit. The reason it was my first post is because I am new to the mambo community.......hence the reason I paid rejuvinet to convert my homemade HTML site to a mambo site. I have not yet made the mambo version live as I am still tweaking a number of things and transferring content but as I said I can assure you I'm legit. My site is www.elitetrack.com

Just wanted to update from my original posting: Dave has never finished the template. There were several minor adjustment which he said he would fix (as pointed out in my first post) but after a week of emailing him he hasn't contacted me one time. I am now left with a template that is 90% complete and little mambo template skills. I now believe that I was duped into thinking that his lateness was actually due to legitimate reasons when in fact it was just part of the lies he tried on others. I think the only reason he actually gave me the semi-finished product was because I submitted a paypal complaint (this was what I was referring to in my original post when I talked about "bumps in our transaction.") after he was late by a week in delivering the template. I later removed the complaint when he gave me the semi-finished template with a promise to add the finishing touches within a day or two.....it's been a week and haven't heard or recieved anything.

Well ... a big welcome to the Club! The Duped by Dave Club, that is ! This is also the reason he is banned from the original Mambo forums over at http://forum.mamboserver.com. Too many dissatisfied customers I guess!

Let me see, what were the excuses this time ... health, hardware, weather, connection problems, moving (any combination/variation thereof)? But wait, as usual, his site is updated yet again! Yeah, but he needs to keep em reeling in so the bait needs to be set (and updated) frequently.

OK, I am waiting for your usual self-serving, over-long email now Dave !
