I think a good way to get things rolling would be to solicit ideas from the community for the domain name. That way you can get an idea who and how many are really interested and will participate. Also, putting decisions in the hands of the community from the beginning is a way to set the tone and let all know it is not a "one man show" but a group activity. If you start the thread under "community announcements", we'll make it sticky and try to point as much attention to it as possible.

I read the announcement post and it looks good to me. I made it sticky and will keep an eye on it. We'll have to come up with some other ways to promote it if it doesn't take off. Maybe find some prize donors and start a contest for logo and banners once the name is decided. Thanks for your initial effort, hoplefully others will follow your lead. Its a great idea.
