MamboOS.com Launched!

Today launches the beginning on the MamboOS.com site designed to be a one-stop resource portal for Mambo. While not the "official" home of Mambo, our goal is simple.

"To provide resources for the everyday Mambo User and to help provide connections to all the free resources in the community, as well as help promote and connect end users with commerical Mambo providers."

Here you will be able to find (alive now or in the next week or two) the following:

- Articles, Code Snipits, and Support For Mambo; Free.
- Download Locations For All Mambo CMTs (Links to most updated copies rather than a filebase (unless no developer page avaliable); Free. Please send information on non-included information to: whc@mamboos.com
- Connections to commercial Mambo developers, and service providers for when you need it the Burger King© Way.
- The Weekly NewsLetter When necessary; Free.
- Links to your own sites for inspiration. Please add your site.
- The User's Demo Site - A place to try out almost any CMT, free or commercial. Comming Soon.
- Many other features to come.

My only problem is that with so many "One Stop Mambo" sites popping up, I have to go to 10 different sites everyday...it is starting to get a little out of hand for me.

But, back to you....great job, and thanks for helping the ever growing Mambo community.

Great to hear the news, yes there are a few sites starting to pop up here and there, but choice is always a good thing.

Plus natural attrition & selection will ensure only the strongest, most useful and informative wil survive.

Yes, I do agree that there are quite a few, but I assure that we have a few supprises in store that will set us above the rest. Wait till Friday. The other nice thing about www.mamboos.com is the fact that the users can do a lot of their own administration. Coders can add their own site, and thanks to Phil's Form tool, they can submith thier own news. The only real interaction between admin and user is support, and approval of submissions.
