Talking mamboserver goes vB!

Just had this:
"vBulletin Message

Sorry, the board is unavailable at the moment while we are testing some functionality.

We will be back soon..."

So finally, they get THE forum software for the official ones ;-)

People who complain about vB obviously have never run and/or setup a large community board....haha...

I think it's great the community is investing in itself and upgrading the board to vB.

I don't step down from my comments about Mambers running VBB, nor do I step down from my comments about Mamboserver.

What a mess.

Certainly I was surprised to hear Arthur voicing views of "find another community" a month ago, but to hear it from the head of the MOS project was very dissappointing.

Ce la vie.

Although invision may have more skins, vbulletin is just as easy to skin. I really enjoy using vbulletin and find it the most creditable of all forum systems.

I do see the irony that mambo is an open source and free software program, yet it supports the private source code of vbulletin.

But, if it works, go for it.
