| Miro creates Mambo Foundation for the community I would like to know how mambers feel about the following development. Quote:
Miro creates Mambo Foundation for the community
By Peter Lamont
The formation of the Mambo Foundation, a non-profit organisation whose mission is to manage the Mambo project, will ensure the security, longevity and success of Mambo and its community of users. Our next goal is to put together a strong organizational structure and encourage coordination between teams including core development, maintenance, documentation, translation, third-party development, membership, finance, administration and advocacy who will work under the Foundation umbrella.
The Mambo project has been extremely fortunate in having such a vital community that has advocated Mambo in many ways and helped it grow into the award-winning product it is today. We want to thank you for your continued support, which will continue to be critical moving forward.
Please visit www.mamboserver.com for additional information as things progress. We will be launching the Mambo Foundation website soon, where you will find general information about the Foundation, how to join as a member, FAQ’s, and much more.
We have also set up a thread on the forum for open discussions on the Foundation.
Sincerely,
Peter Lamont
Chairman, Board of Regents
Mambo Foundation, Inc.

| Re: Miro creates Mambo Foundation for the community Surely I believe many members of the community have seen this dire news...
Seems like ol' Mambers.com is somewhat of a ghost town these days tho, mister. I find that quite rightly odd, considerin'.
Anyway, I'd just like to say that my own perspective on this debacle can be found on my new blog site: The Lone Mamber - Independent Mambo news from the frontier!
I'd like to invite ya'll to pop over and join in the fun, surely we could all use a chuckle at a time like this as well as some solid discussion.
Also, if you've missed it, ya'll should really checkout the thread on the official forums.
Thankye kindly,
The Lone Mamber |

The Lone Mamber | The real question is...who is hiding behind the mask of the lone mamber?
Of, course, I understand you feeling a bit ashamed...spamming the forum the way you have.
BTW...it ain't "varmits"...its "varmiNts" (even on the real range)

| Re: Miro creates Mambo Foundation for the community Someone should tell the Lone Mamber that some of his text on the front page is getting cut off.
Oops, I guess I already did.

Anyway, ya'll have a point there about "varmints", silly ol' me was convinced by others that it was in actual fact "varmits". Notice in the poll I did spell it correctly the first time
I'll get onto that presently, thankye mightily for pointin' it out, pardner.
The Lone Mamber
