Hi all mambers,
I have just launced a documentation project for Mambo Open Source, and I am looking for contributors for this.
You can find the documentation here:
http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Mambo_Open_Source
This is an attempt to place everything in one place, and I shure hope it will work!
This is, as you can see, a wikibook. That means that everybody can contribute without even having to sign up.
I have seen many attempts to create documentation portals, but they seem to have failed. The wikipedia, on the other hand, has an enormous amount of users and comtributions, so i thought: why not create documentation here?
So please, contribute with me, and give me reccomondations! Especially the layout and organization is a hard one: i have set up a reccomondation, but I am shure that someone has some ideas on this one. I have tried to avoid the "modules", "components" and "templates" approach, and used one that is more newbie-friendly. Thoughts?
Anyway, I surely hope that this will not be another one of those never-expanding documsntation projecs, so contribute now!! As I said earlier: anyone can contribute on anything, there are no admins at all!
Regards,
August Lilleaas
