Nevermind - seemed to be a cache thing or something in Firefox... Cleared my cache and it seemed to work just fine again.

when you uploaded your files did you use an FTP program like Cute FTP If so make sure you transfer them as "Auto Detect". Some of the files are Binary and some are ASCII.

Also, after you re upload the files again (assuming you did and replaced all the orignal files) re-run the MySQL upgrade script. Try this again and see what happens. Did you also do a Global Checkin in the Admin and Re-Save the config

I uploaded the files again (2 more times actually). Made sure the transfer was set to auto-detect. I ended up deleting my folder and installing fresh, then restoring my tables. Its working now.

Ok, well glad to see that you got 4.5.2 working. This is a great release, so if anyone is still thinking about upgrading JUST DO IT

The interface and the API have not really changed that much. You should feel quite comfortable using 4.5.2.

After upgrading, I notice duplicate entries in my Control Panel
i.e.
2 instances of the Help to the Media Manager icons,

and also 2 instances of the tabs on the right i.e. Components to Global Configuration.

Not sure what I did wrong but..how do I rectify this?

Everything else seems to look and work fine though.

Did you run the SQL upgrade file in the Installation folder You get issues like that if you only upload the files and not upgrade the Database.

Yes, I have run the upgrade451to452.sql via phpMyAdmin, but no change. Is there anything else I can do?
