Default a6Mambo Component Wizard Available

A wizard to generate a basic component zip file, ready for installation in a Mambo Web Site, is now available at www.active6.com for registered users.

This wizard was created to solve a simple, but time-consuming problem: to eliminiate the repetitive taks of modifying basic installation and XML files that comprise a Mambo component.

The wizard allows you to enter the basic component details, like name, version, license type, mail info and web site. It will pre-fill most values with the information taken from your free user registration at our site, so you won't need to retype it every time. Then, just click and the component zip file can be downloaded.

I hope other Mambo developers out there find it useful.

Great little component. I'm looking into coding new components/modules in the near future. Hope this helps.

Thanks.

How about porting this to template installations too! A great idea by the way! Kudos to you!
