YaNC 1.4. beta 1 released

YaNC 1.4. beta 1 has been released today

Changes:
* batch email sending (allows you to group x subscribers together and send out in 1 mail)
* page refresh after x blocks (refreshes the page after x blocks of subscribers, userfull for people on save mode or with set_time_limit disabled)
* splitted the configuration in different tabs (nicer overview)
* subscribe/unsubscribe overview screen for users (so registered users can easily manage the newsletters they are subscribed to)
* page navigation in subscriber management and filtering (for userssearch)
* ordering by name, email, subscribe date and status in subscriber management
* fixed parse error on statistics page
* email address validation when registering
* Integration with mambots for custom tags
* Link tracking, track which mailing send visitors where.
* Fixed bug with & in subscriber name
* Delete multiple subscribers at once
* Made subscribername optional, can be set in the configuration
* Date formatting in the frontend
* Mailings will be saved with the time settings defined in mambo
* Delete mailing from archive function
* CVS import functionality
* Frontend newsletter editing
* Setting mailing composition for certain userlevels
* Backend and frontend fully multilanguage
* Embedded images option

YaNC does this automaticly as of version 1.3.

2. This system DO NOT purge the invalid email addresses (like if by mistake username@yahooo.com has been added, or wrongname@domain.com is added.

There's no really good way checking emailadresses, only syntaxwise (or you will have to check the mxrecord for each domain, which takes up a bit of time, for a list of 1200 addresses this would be quite long, but it's worth considering).

the emailadresses you are putting above, are correct by syntax, they just don't exist.

if you feel like YaNC should have such an option, you can file a feature request at http://mamboforge.com/project/yanc/ and i will have a look at the options..

I thought i can edit, create and manage newsletters from the frontend???? i dont want anybody else except me accessing the backend, as most other admins here around i think dont want that, too.....

why are most of the mambo modules, components designed for the backend??? Why not only let their config there??? Rest to the frontend please!!!!! Every admin has access to his frontend, but not every editor/publisher has to the backend...

(i dont want helperadmins or something else, backend knows only one person, the SUPERADMIN )

I am testing YanC and it works great for creating and editing a newsletter and even sending it for a small number of users.

When I tried to send a massive mail to 3000 subscribers, it started to send ok for the first 40 or 50 users but then I started to get bounce messages from my server. The message stated that all domains were unroutable.

I don't know if this has to do with YanC or my server. Any ideas???

that will have to be your server.
people can send out mailings of 24.000 and 11.000 without problems (i saw the report and contacted them afterwards)

I use Letterman 1.1 now, works perfect, smart and convinient. YANC is much to heavy and buggy. YANC was driving me crazy sorry!

Everybody who wants an easy and nice Newsletter with full frontend support i suggest try Letterman... 10 Minutes after downloading it will work completely!!!

Does Letterman support frontend creating and sending of messages/newsletters for a group (for example 'publishers') set by admin?
