Yes me too,
I tried a fresh install with a restore of the database parts for akobook, but no result. Ok i had not so many entry's but for the next update it will be fine if there is a good sloluition for it. :)

solved the same problem by exporting all AKOBOOK data to a file, uninstalling and installing new version of AkoBook component and then all data have been inserted into the mos_akobook table back ... I understand that it not the easiest way to do that - but I did not find any other :)

Back to this question.

I neeed to do a restore of my akobook entries to a fresh installation of mambo (I have the latest akobook on the fresh installation but I'm trying to move data from an earlier version akobook 3.1)

The system will not add the akobook entries when I use the mambo restore function. I'm guessing it cant read the dump instructions so can someone please tell me what needs to be changed in the sql backup for it to restore the entries into the site.

Failing that, I am open to adding them all back in manually but I need to know how to reconfigure the dates for them all.

um......no response - I guess akobook is dead.

Very disappointing.

I'm starting to think a basic website with a few add on scripts will be a lot easier and less stressful than trying to maintain a mambo site with all the changes going on atm

Thanks anyway :)
