Any chance there's a talented MOS component programmer who's interested in genealogy? If so, I'd like to put in a suggestion for a port/patch for TNG (The Next Generation of Genealogy Sitebuilding) (http://lythgoes.net/genealogy/software.php).
My girlfriend is using it, with a Post*Nuke install (there's a nuke-related patch package that has been done by a third party), and she really likes it. I want to move her over to Mambo, but it probably won't happen unless I can find a way to integrate her TNG package. I've tried using it with the StaticXT component on my test site, but it doesn't work properly.
TNG is a commercial package ($27), so I don't know what level of interest there would be here... but it is a good, easy to use, genealogy package. Since there's already a patch to make it work with the Nukes, I would expect the developer would be open to a Mambo patch/port also.
