MambAds - problem

I've just installed MambAds and I can't create, edit or even delete any categories even I had logged into my page. Please help 'cause I'm desperate after 2 hours of tryin' and checking the scipts

Hi Deutsch,

Yes, this is a bit confusing...

Log into your mambo site using your admin UN and PW (same UN and PW as mambo backend) - then select your "mambads" link..

Once youre logged in as admin, it gives you the option to Edit categories..

I'm also having problems.
I've installed the component succesfully and edited to me needs the config file.
The component is published and visible to public.
I can see the link in the Main Menu.
My mambo version is 4.5 Stable 1.0.9

I login in both Frontend AND Backend with my super admin UN and PW.

In the Backend clicking on the MambAds component does nothing, no config, no options, nothing.

In the Frontend i click on the MambAds link and the content leaves me 2 options.
1. Search Ads
2. Publish New Ad

I can't see anywhere the option for creating categories.

Any help?

I need help with deleting this component. Aftering trying to install it several times and trying to configure it (without success), I am too frustrated with it.

When I try to delete it, I receive this message

"No files found in /home/eindia/public_html/administrator/components/com_mambads"

I installed this component again, and it says "Upload new component - Success"

But now it shows that there are 2 Components named MambAds. I am able to delete one of them, but the second one is still visible under the Components menu.

How can this be? A few days ago, I accidently tried to install a module that was already install, and I received a message saying that it already exists.

I just switched back from XOOPS to MOS, so I don't remember some things. :O
