View Full Version : Component - for Race Stats...
Hey there,
Well since I am going to switch my site (www.fki.be - Karting in Belgium) to Mambo Open Source, I would like to also get a Component/Module to put the race stats.
Our PC that it connected to the track puts em in some kind of DB/files and I would like to have a Component/Module that will show the stats of each week.
Like :
Name Time
Johan 25.251
Mike 25.352
...
Thanks,
Mavke
http://www.fki.be
If someone would be able to do something or that could help me.
I am willing to even make a donation to get this coded...
Thanks,
Mavke

Hey, well that is the issue... I will need week stats, month stats, year stats... And the DB should contain the day, name or racer and his time of his fastest lap.
Donation can be 25-50EURO...

Donation (25-50EURO) ....
hmmmmm how much do you pay your cleaning lady??
Can you show me an image (with the tables and attributes) of the db or show me what the default output is?
Are you able to run cron jobs? Or are you going to upload the stats yourself everyweek?
As you see: more info thats what i need.
Well there are no DB files, as it will come in text form... With that I mean a text file with the following details :
Race nbr (several races a day)
Name
Time
Day/month/Year
And I would like the race stats on it with Day stats/Week stats/Month Stats...

Sorry folks, I'm on a posting spree.
You could load the information into Database Query, then create a query to display the information. You would need a script to parse and load the data, however. Yeah, cron would be useful here.
Another option would be to use a small script that is called by the template to read the file, parse it, and display the information nicely and perrty.
