hi
i need an component or mambot wich switches the "header image"
on each link i klick on
is something like that already done ?
thx
Hi,
you are mixing things up a little! So let me explain this a little more detailed:
1. Components are interactive elements of a Mmabo site, which do generate output inside Mambo's main content area. They can not change anything except within their own world.
2. Mambots are little text parsers, which crawl through your content items only and can add or replace parts of your content. So they only have an effect on content items.
You want to change the header image of a template. So this is a template issue and only can be realized inside the template. I'm currently working on such a template, which can be previewed here: http://showcase.konze.de/

there's a flash header which does that i have in my downloads if you're interested..
Hi there,
I was curious if you could share the code for the rotating images in the header. I am designing my own template and I have ran into a problem with the rotating images.
Thanks.

I am working on a mambo site integrating a custom application to the backend. A person I am working with on the project has created a simple module with an admin that assigns mambo content section a header graphic. The module is placed in the template and if no graphic is assigned to the section a default graphic is used. If you are interested I can ask to post the code.

I paid for this component (15 Euros) and installed it on 19/06/05. Sadly at the moment it does not work with Mambo 4.5.2. The owner is in the process of updating it so when he does I will post here to let you all know.
What i did for my website since i couldnt seem to find a module to work i used the banner component and just put the different headers i wanted in there so theyd randomly display looks fine on my website maybe not the best way but it works.
This one is for FREE
Have a look at one of my websites www.catgarden.be and go through all the menus. You will see the header image change according to (some) active menus.
