View Full Version : PNG transparency fix for IE on Windows
Just found this today and thought it might be of use to some of you mambers out there. Just add a small chunk of javascript to your template and fix those horrid grey backgrounds on transparent PNGs. Namely those tiny icons for the com_contact page and the frontend admin 'edit'/'new' icons (the ones in /images/M_images/ that is).
Anyway, credit goes to this dude, Bob Osola (http://homepage.ntlworld.com/bobosola/)... I think I'm going to be incorporating this into all my Mambo sites as I'm not sure if M$ will resolve this issue.

Dear Mamber,
You started this thread in the Mambo 5.0 forum. This version is not out yet and the forum is only used to discuss this upcoming version. Your problem is not particularly about this upcomming version of Mambo but about something regarding the current version. Therefore this should be posted in another forum. This way other mambers can respond faster to your questions/remarks.
I moved it for you, please post in the appropriate forum next time, you will get faster and better answers there!
Regards,

This Problem will be solved if the IE 7 get out (maybe in the next Generation :D )
