!problem with phpBB component on windows2000!

i managed to upload successfully the phpBB component, but when i proceed to install it then an arror message appears, which is:

phpBB :: Installation
Archive extraction failed... cannot continue installation

Error was:

Array
(
)

although the executables (tar,untar) were in the "winnt" directory.

I hope if someone can help me!

System:
winndow 2000 pro fat32
mambo 4.5.1.0.7
phpBB component1.2

I remember i had a similiar problem on my windows testing server i can't really remember how to solve it again.. i believe that if you unpack it yourself and do a manuel install it goes ok...
