Most of you Mambers know my MOS Thumb Bot, a lot downloaded it and only one person donated, but a lot of features were requested. So i decided to make a non-free Pro version. It will not be very expensive, i think everybody will be able to afford it. Also some parts of it will make it into the GPL version, especially Bug fixes and code clean-ups.

So here's a list of features that are already implemented (additionally to the already known from MOS Thumb)

- Every Parameter can be defined individually for each image as arguments in the mosimage (e.g.:{mosimage thumbs=0} )

- An URL can be defined, that will be shown instead of the PopUp for the full size image (e.g.: {mosimage url=http://www.zapto.de (optional: target=_self} )

- Image Copy protection, a simple but efficient Image Copy protection prevents most users from downloading you images with "right-click->save as" (no Javascript!), instead they get an image called "image_copy_protected!.gif"

- Supports Transparency in PNG and GIF now, Backgroundcolor now only required for jpeg when maxsize is defined

- Supports Watermarks in Thumbnails, you can select from 8 different positions for the watermark, additionally you can select to randomly select one of the 8 defined positions or a completely random position. Also a margin can be defined, to define how far from the borders the watermark must be positioned.
- A magnifier image will be bundled with MOS Thumb Pro and set as default watermark, so no need to write "Click to Enlarge" in the Caption you can write your own description.

Not yet implemented features:
- Watermarking for full size images
- optionally use ImageMagick or NetPBM
- Documentation!!! (Usage and Installation Manuall)
- no more features planed yet, ideas are welcome!

So this is going to be released soon, and i need some testers (GD2 is required for testing!).
Any volunteers??

It's released!!
You can order it at mosthumb.zapto.de (http://mosthumb.zapto.de) and you will get updates and bugfixes during the Main version lifecycle.
Right now it is available for Mambo 4.5.1 as a single Domain license (a version
for Mambo 4.5 is in work), other license models like Server License will be available soon.

Looks nice. The caption is especially a nice touch.

Have you thought about apending the images that popup with a little marking, like a magnifying glass icon? It could overlay, or it could just border, like on washingtonpost.com (http://www.washingtonpost.com).

Installed yesterady, works GREAT! After some debugging, because first image I tried with was a .gif, and that does not work.. :(
tony, what you ask there is already included and very simple to set from the parameters panel in admin!

Gif images now also work when no gif creation support is available, normally it should have saved the thumb as png, a little bug caused that an empty string was returned instead. The Bug is fixed, users who have already ordered should redownload and replace imagetaw.class.php if they have problems with gif images.

Mani is this bot also working with the ZoomGallery?

manni

I have never used zoom gallery, so i don't know how it works, but normally bots are supposed to be used in content items.
One customer i know uses it together with Menalto Gallery, he has his albums folder within images/stories, so he can also use the images in content, MOS Thumb Pro resizes them.
