Some errors are reported here very often. I will try to compile as many of them here as a one-stop place to find an answer.

The php.ini file only allows up to 8MB uploads by default. To change this size via .htaccess use:
php_value upload_max_filesize 1500M
php_value post_max_size 1500M
I have been contacted to develop a site. How much should I charge?
This will vary on a huge number of factors. Your experience, how long it will take, your relation with the client, what exactly needs to be done.

Site setup including installing MOS, and CMTs: $400-$600
Custom Design: $300-$600
Template Porting: $100-$200
