Hi there,

I'm pretty much a newbie when it comes to Mambo. I've played with the last versions before but didn't really get into very much. I've mostly been working with Postnuke, but I am finding that this latest version of Mambo 4.5 is much much smoother and doesn't hog up my resources as much. But anyways, I've taken a serious interest in learning the Mambo language and is considering building my next website with Mambo.

So I have one question actually. I am looking for a UserPoint module/component that hands out points for various activities which are done. Is there one that exists? If there isn't is there a place (that anyone) recommends for some "good old" reading regarding building components.

I don't know of any such modules or components...

There is some dev info on www.mamboserver.com (http://www.mamboserver.com) in the FAQ section and on www.mamboportal.com (http://www.mamboportal.com) in the Donwloads - Tutorial section, but the pickings are rather slim... :( The best place yet, is to look through the actual code of MOS and other components and modules.
