how can i copy a Component ?

if i want to copy the poll or any other Component like gallery or some thing else? how can i do it? what sould i change that the model will be the same model but not at the same name the i will get error when i try to upload it?

I'd get the original zip installation file (if it's a 3rd party component, if not you'll have to create an installation zip file for the component), and change the name of the component anywhere it appears to something like AkoGalley2, you will need to change the names of the files such as admin.akogallery.php and also edit the xml installation file to reflect the name change.

Then, install the "new" component.
