I just installed ip2info version 0.2

and i get always this error message

Warning: fsockopen(): unable to connect to www.networldmap.com:80 in /www/htdocs/rapl/mambo/modules/mod_ip2info.php on line 366
POST request errorSorry, but I don't know where 213.155.200.164 come from !

My IP is not the displayed. I'm from germany and have an 83.113.xxxx IP

what happens? Whats wrong?

probably the site neworldmap is down or your config is not able to open a new connection ....let me know if the problem continue...

hey, thanks for your answer

i still had the problem.
Ip2info, when it had connections, displayed IP from anywhere, but not mine: Sometimes from Italy, sometimes form USA or what else.


But I am from Germany!!!! Your module seems to read wrong IP'S !!!


I uninstalled the newest version and installed the older one. It works fine. With 4.5.1a stable too. And it shows the correct Location? why???

perhaps there is a bug in the newest version? Don't know. I don't know how to programme PHP. Sorry. Perhaps you find one

Are there any other people with the same Problem I have? Perhaps it's only a fault in MY data!
