Default Re: MySQL database installation - ERROR

I am having the same problem, "The database details provided are incorrect and/or missing".
I have reloaded everything several times, I uninstalled my apache2, mysql and perl and php several times trying to get this to work. I had it working and upon changing the themes became somehow corrupt. All my problems started on trying to reload the program after cleaning my system of everything and reinstalling everything. I still get the same message over and over. All my data is correct but somehow the installation thinks it is not correct. Checking my Mysql I can see the banners and files but the installation program that put them there doesn't see them after it puts them there. I am (trying to use) Mambo Version 4.5.2.1 on a windows XP Pro with 2 gigs of memory and a Pent 4.
I don't mean to be asking a question already answered somewhere but I have looked all over and haven't found it. Can someone please help???

Curt

I am only using it on my localhost machine, no where else. At least for now
